This is an epic science fiction film set in the future by the same name. Humans are mining a precious mineral called unobtanium on Pandora. On this planet also lived a local indigenous tribe known as the Na’vi, who looked humanoid with four limbs but were taller and had blue skin. As the continued expansion of the mining colony threatened the continued existence of the tribe, the colonists actually genetically engineered bodies of Na’vi which could be linked to the human mind, so that they would be able to interact with them. The movie’s main character Jake falls in love with Neytiri of the Na’vi and eventually even transfers his “soul” into the Na’vi body to live with them.
I guess this is the gist of the story. Tonight I am going to talk about Avatar costumes anyway so I shall not dwell into the plot of the movie, though I have to tell you that it is very much worth watching! So here I am talking about some of these fantastic avatar costume ideas. You can come up with your own homemade avatar costume and I shall tell you how to make an avatar costume. First of all you already know that the Navi have blue skin so very simply you can just dress up in a blue dress shirt or whatever and have your face painted blue and wah la you have your very own avatar costume!
